Hi Mrs.Ringgold! I'm 10 years old. In my school we are doing a reading unit on artists and I'm researching you along with my other two friends! I read some things about you and I have African roots too! My mom and dad were born in Ghana, West Africa and my brother and sister were born in Togo(by the way I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers
). I've seen a painting by you and it shows a family that looks like they are on top of a building and two kids are on beds. I love that painting because it reminds me of my family and how much I love them. But I forgot the name! Can you find the paintings name based on my description? Thanks. We'll keep in touch!
