A more important message about Dave Lloyd challenge
Brud Bammie here is a link to the Dave Lloyd it's a toughy, tougher than the Whitton over 5000 metres of climbing tough. Only for the Hardcore tempted, but maybe but maybe too close to 13 July, sounds fun though any other takers? regards Newtop |

don't mistake flashy data about metres as being necessarily directly indicative of how difficult something is...there are very few roads in Western Europe that can rival the Hardnott Wrynose combo I've toured all over Wales, and though it does have mountains, they lack the bite, majesty, and beauty of their Lakeland brethren. Though that's not to say it ain't a great addition, phenomally tough and one that will have to be ridden next year...Dave Lloyd certainly knows his stuff I've a pal out Leek CC who is riding the inaugural event, and fancies himself as 'pantani of the potteries', so will avidly await a report
