Important Message for Thursday Night Road Race League
IMPORTANT MESSAGE ON BEHALF OF THE SHROPS AND SOUTH STAFFS COMMITEE TO ANYONE RIDING OR INTENDING TO RIDE THE THURSDAY EVENING ROAD RACE LEAGUE (SSSCCRRL) Thursday 29th May is the 2nd Huntington Round (Cannock) that will be run by non-affiliated clubs (in this case Stafford Tri / Mammoth / CC Giro / Plan B etc..) The Shrops and South Staffs commitee at their recent AGM has ruled that any rider turning up to ride following this round, who has not supported the evening with marshalling duties, will NOT be allowed to ride any further series races. If you do support this round with marshalling, please ensure you're name is recorded at the Pillaton Cricket Club House by the Commitee Members (Austin Jones etc..) These events are only made possible by volunteers, so one night off shouldn't be a hassle to those who enjoy the current series or who may want to sample a race during June and July. Thanks for your support.

Does this mean i get to race in a real road race with the tough men of cycling Baldy Boy or do i have to be content with sticking to the 3 event thingy that is Triathlon. Go on then even if i can't race i'll volunteer my services. regards Gotatop

Skip - fair point, but just passing on the message. I'd be gutted to turn up in june unaware and refused entry, although that would be as good a result as any other night ! Headcase - you'll need to borrow the good ladies gillette first, i can't see you getting through scrutineering with them legs !
