To all you guys on your fancy TT bikes at 3 Spires
..you will be very relieved to hear that I didn't beat your times doing 1.06 on my shopper bike after all. My moment of glory lasted about 7 hrs and I was also presented with 2nd lady trophy (which I had to give back today), only to be told that I'd gone wrong on the bike course later that evening.I followed the people in front at this round-a-bout missing out 2 miles and they got disqualified too. lesson learnt here!  . This now means I'll have to beat u in September instead

hmmm...would that be your carbon fibre, Ultegra, ksyrium shopper then, with tri bars !!!!  Next you'll be saying you did the run in those fleece zip up tartan booties you are so fond of

well how d'you know I dont do my shopping on it? Anyhow, its not a fancy £5000 TT bike, just the ordinary sort really and I havent got a poser TT helmet like somepeople or drag proof tri suit, etc.etc. With some proper bike and swim training people will have to watch their backs this year, including you!  . Are you still racing Clayton 10k tonight? Are you psychologically prepared to be beaten??

Hey Girl,...I'm always ready to bow before those of greater athletic prowess... but I'm rarely beaten... I'll be trying out my Lanza running gear tonight and aiming at my first sub 40...so I'm on a crusade so if you see a white lycra flash go past you ...watch out for the trailing hand that slaps the rump of slowness you may even want to drop off a yard or two as the white Skins shorts may be transluscent in a barmy eve ps Have you never heard of Lance Armstrong ? "It's not about the bike..." nor any other kit you can buy...there's no correlation between talent and kit unless you get given it ofcourse

You'll be disfellowshiped from SMM wearing white tonight. At least I wont be the only one boo'd at being my first night in green. I reckon you should babysit Chloe for me today if you're feeling so confident about yourself. Us working mothers have the greatest stamina of all!! |
