Renewal Of Membership for 2008/2009
Dear All It has now come to the end of Stafford Triathlon Clubs membership year (31st March). I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for being members for the last year and hope that you have enjoyed being part of the club. The new membership started from April 1st. The renewal fee is to be kept at £20.00 for Seniors and £10.00 for Juniors/Students. Below is a list of some of the benefits of being a member of Stafford Tri, so hopefully this will encourage all of you to renew your membership for another year with us and help us stay as one of the fastest growing triathlon clubs in the UK. DISCOUNTS BTA Membership - £38.00 rather than £49.00 BTA Membership includes: public liability and personal accident cover; money off race entries; free legal service if involved in an accident; annual members handbook; Tri News magazine; automatic entry to Nation Rankings; eligibility to represent GB in age group team Mammoth Cycles - 15% off everything (use membership card to get discount). Discounted bike servicing (£15 rather than £25) - when booking in state that you are a Stafford Tri Club Member. TRAINING Swim Sessions 2 x fully coached swim sessions per week (to ASA & BTA standard). Organised runs and rides every week. Open Water training during the summer, check forum for details. Train with novice and experienced athletes, pick up some good tips and advice. OTHER BENEFITS Fully Customised Club Kit Club is now affiliated with British Triathlon - (see above for benefits) CTT (Cycling Time Trials) - gives discounted race fees, also insurance cover BCF (British Cycling Federation) - gives discounted race entry fees to BCF events. Also gives insurance cover and free bronze membership of BCF (you need to apply for bronze membership) UK Athletics - gives ability to represent Stafford Tri Club in UK Athletics events including Cross Country races Club Championship for all members (prizes for Male/Female Categories) Social Evenings Throughout the year, check the forum for details. Represent Stafford Tri at the National Sprint Relays. Equipment Hire - use of club turbo trainer, etc available TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP You can do this a number of ways: 1. Pay Cheque or Cash (cheques to be made payable to : Stafford Triathlon Club). Send cheques to me at Denfield House, Stafford Road, Weston, Staffs, ST18 0HX; cash can be handed over at any of our training sessions to either Louise Tomkinson-Hill, Nick Tomkinson-Hill or Stuart Turner. 2. Go on-line to entry central (www.entrycentral.com) and pay by credit card. (there is an extra cost of £1.00 per transaction) Everyone on renewing their membership will be sent a new card. This is to be used at Mammoth to get the club discounts. If you have any further questions, please contact me.
