Stafford Tri Junior Triathlon 25th May
We are hosting our first race which will be a Junior Triathlon to be held at CHeslyn Hay on Sunday 25th May this year (Bank Holiday Weekend). It will be part of the West Midlands Series which should attract quite a few of the regions talented Athletes, Ages and distances are as follows. Brian Pestana will be doing most of the organising himself, he will need lots of help just prior to the event and especially on the day itself, with Marshalling etc, so if you can all put the date in your diaries and make a real effort to help out that would be great. As ever the time we all give is for the good of the club and to help move things forward which we all benefit from, so lets make a real effort to not only get as many of our kids out to compete, but to make a special effort to make this a success by helping out. Yes I can help out, although I have never been to a Tri event, but I'm sure you can find something for me to do.

Change that to only 1 small adult Olivia must race as there is absolutly no point in her watching and helping out as there is no madals for that. If she is 'allergic' to the sport get her some allergy tablets as she is racing!

Stu, we need to set up the course beforehand - race registration is at 8.30am, race briefing 9.40am, first swimmers at 10.00am. last swimmers around 12.40pm. Afterwards we need help to pack everything up. Best guess at the moment is something like 7.00am to 2.00pm. I will post those details as soon as I have them. Cheers, Brian |
