How do you get your website in search engines?
In my website details under the section that helps search engines find your website I typed in my website name. But when I searched for it on google, nothing came up. The website I have with another webhosting company shows up when I search for it. And my blog on Bravehost comes up when I search for it, so I was just wondering why my website doesn't show up. |

Because Google haven't chosen to index it yet. Being indexed by Google is not a "right", it is a privilage. Google may index your site in 6 hours or it may take 6 months or they may not index it at all. Its their choice and under their sole control. |

you need to keep your link in other web sites online so that search engines can find your site. |

heres what i did, i opened an account with google web master tools, its free. Then i sumittted my url. they asked me to put a special html page on my site, so they can verify its yours, and you have conntrol. After that ya just wait, or yu cna also submit a site map, i wasnt to sure about how to create one. So i went to http://www.makeasitemap.com/ you fill out a few questions they will generate it for you |
