You have to admit if God made a new Covenant with the house of Israel and all came to an end at 70 AD then something isn't right. The New Covenant was very short lived in. This is hard for me to believe. He believes and teaches that we as Gentles are saved by the Grace of God by simply believing in what Jesus done for us on the cross. They defiantly teach "right division". I think you'll agree to that. However they teach the nation of Israel is put off and we as Christian Gentiles will be drafted in later when God restores all things. Do you have any insight on this? Can you be of some help?
Dr. Jerry Bernard says:
The new covenant was with them for forty years (the time of testing). The people as a whole failed again in the new covenant. This is not hard to believe. It happened with each covenant that God made with them. In "right division" we learn that the "grafting in" was only for a short time. The purpose for the "grafting in" was to provoke Israel to emulation. It was for the purpose of causing Israel to be jealous of the Gentiles coming to Christ, the Jewish Messiah and in that jealous condition, return to Christ also. This "grafting in," like the "new covenant" did not work for the Nation as a whole. Leave the "grafting in" and the "new covenant" in the first century, where it belongs and Grace remains pure for us today. Those who were "grafted in" were warned that they could also be broken off like the natural branches (Israelites) were. Today, we can not be broken off from the life source. This is "right division."
