Message:   Hi Jerry, I read your first chapter of your book you sent. Very good!!! Something came to mind as I was reading. The first Adam prior to eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil would have had a choice to eat of the Tree of Life as it was in the garden also. This leads me to believe that the first Adam was not going to live for ever physically even prior to the fall. I think that the death God spoke of was strictly spiritual death not physical as Adam would have died Physically anyway. The reason I say that is Gen. 3:22-23 " And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat and live for ever: Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken." Apparently living forever physically in a spiritually dead state required eating from the physical tree of life. Adam had not eaten of the tree of life, which leads me to believe the only way he would have been able to live physically forever would have been to eat of the physical tree of life. We eat of the spiritual tree of life and we live forever spiritually but physically we still die. Christ brings us back to the point of the first Adam prior to the fall. Spiritually alive for ever (because of Christ) but we still die physically. Just as Adam would have lived spiritually for ever but would have died physically had he not eaten of the tree of knowledge of good and evil that God told him not to eat of..Does that make sense to you? Any thoughts?
