_____________________________________________________________________________

Super Sunday is again nearly upon us in the Premiership, however before that, Super Saturday will take place at Polstain Road when the top two in the Mining Division 3 meet.

As with any meeting of the top two, it will either be a classic or a match to forget. Will anything be decided in regards to the title? Well if Chacewater win then probably they will go on and be crowned champions any other result and the league title will be undecided, and probably going down to the last game of the season.

The one thing that is fairly definate is both these sides will be facing each other in the second division next year, which can only be good for the immidiate area. Both Clubs will then have strong First and Reserve sides, sitting in the first and second tier of Junior Football.

As a derby it is going to be contested extremely well, with both teams giving no quarter, so to predict a result will be tough for any pundit. There is not alot to choose between the two teams. The homeside have a very good scoring record on their own patch and are very miserly in defence. The awayside are able to punish teams, however, they do conceed away from home which may be their achilles heel, time will tell.

The bookmakers are struggling to call this one, which has left them sitting on the fence, although having TMS slight favourites due to home advantage.

Home win: 1/2
Draw: Evens
Away win: 2/1

Support your local team.....

Re: MINING DIV 3 - DERBY CLASH - TOP TWO GO HEAD TO HEAD

In regards to the clash against Chacewater. I did not realise that the game played at the beginning of the seaon was switched to TMS ground, therefore, the game on Saturday will be at Chacewater not Threemilestone. Kick Off 1430, in light of this the odds may have changed slightly with home advantage to the league leaders it looks as if the bookies have now changed their odds.

Home win: Evens
Draw: Evens
Away win: 2/1
