Since there was no game recap to mention these things, and many people were unable to make it out to the game, let me inform everyone of some milestone which occured in Diversity Park this past Sunday.
The Hundred Hit Club welcomes two new members. Jason Freda & Mike Ferri. Anthony Belo became a member last week but no one knew because they didnt see the stats. They join Chris Thorn and Victor Andrade.
Mike Ferri gets his 200th atbat. The only other player to reach this level is Chris Thorn.
Chris Thorn plays in his record 40th game.
Paul Dispensa hits his first career homerun.
For the first time ever back to back to back homeruns are hit. The feat was accomplished by Charlie Gill, Christopher Thorn & Matthew Thorn. This is also the first time brothers have him back to back jobs. |
