My great grandfather was killed on the railways (GWR I believe around 1900. I am not sure if it was a result of a major accident or elsewhere on the railway. His name was George Henry Tillman and he lived in the Battersea area.Subsequently my grandfather ended up in the care of 'Dr. Banardos'.
Any information as to where I might find more detailed information would be greatly appreciated.
