New gig listing
Really excited about the new gig list, and for a change, not for selfish reasons. I have had a long term belief that the US has a bigger audience for the type of soul you spoil us with. From this web site and at the gigs it is all too clear that there are many of us who are Ola addicts who sit in awe of the talent and sound. But there are more artists in the states who enjoy success on a massive scale who come close to the genre and there is no doubting you are more than a match for their talent. So I am itching to see how well you will be received and am willing the music gods to ensure that the trip brings you everything you and the guys could hope for. As long as the gigs arent promoted by the same people who ran the promotion for a certain venue in Colchester a while back you'll be fine. (We'll make sure there are no repeats this year). My only fear is that if they take to you in the way I know they will, then we'll end up having to share you more with our trans-Atlantic brethren. (Ah well there had to something selfish I suppose). Much love to you all. David |
