Michael was my acting teacher at Lee Strasberg in '92.
Michael Billington was my acting teacher during 1992 at the Lee Strasberg Studio in London. I'm really sad to find out he has passed away. I've come across this news as I was attempting to contact him after all these years to thank him for the great influence he had on my own acting career. I always looked forward to his class, he conducted them with humor and brilliant knowledge of "The Craft". I have gratefully taken his acting tips and training with me on my own creative journey, and although I lost contact, thought fondly of him often. R.I.P Mike. Peace and best wishes to your family, friends, fans, fellow actors and students. Philippe X. www.philippevonlanthen.com |

Thanks Philippe for your message. It is greatly appreciated. If I can take this opportunity to (lancer un appel) make a call to Mike's former acting student, if photos of his teaching period still exist and are willing to share those precious moment with fans, I am sure all fans around the world will appreciate it. Unfortunately I have no photos with Mike from the class during my time at Lee Strasberg, the great memories and inspiration however thankfully remain... Best, Philippe Vonlanthen. |
