Devasted at the loss Mike Billington
Its 16.59 Wednesday 2008, and last night I was rocked by an earthquake, Today!... I,m the one who is shattered beyond words can say. I am at home going through the web sites for the TV series UFO, when I,v just come to a page informing me of the loss not only of Mike Billington, but also that of Ed Bishop who played (Ed Straker) from the series. I had the greates of pleasure of meeting Mike, at the London Expo in the may of 2005. it was such a surprise we ended up talking during his break from a days signing, and it was truely the most memorable times that I can hold. Mike was to me at that time looking good , and he shared some of his memories of his works including UFO, which he truely enjoyed, eventually he had to go back to his signings, and we thanked each other for the company, and the memories shaired. Thats the last time I saw him. My sinceare thoughts go to his family for the loss of such an amazing man. I,m blessed to have knowen him.. and deeply sad for his passing. |
