New Book
Hi all, Saw this message on the 'U.F.O.' fans' Yahoo! Group 'SHADO', posted by Marc Martin, host of the excellent website 'U.F.O.' Series Home page (www.ufoseries.com); "Yesterday I received a copy of the new book "Cult TV: The Golden Age of ITC" from Amazon.uk. There is a chapter devoted to UFO and Space:1999. The UFO coverage is certainly interesting, as there are quotes from interviews with Gerry Anderson, Sylvia Anderson, Ed Bishop, Mike Billington, and more. Although the interviews were done for the book, most of these folks tell basically the same stories that they have in the past. Although I think there is focus on problems during the production, so this makes the interviews a bit more "gossipy" than the usual stuff we've seen in the past. The photos are all in black & white, and nothing we haven't seen before... " Must get hold of a copy ! Best wishes for a Happy New Year, Andy |
