Congrats Carie and Andre
Hay Carie, Lovely to hear your good news. A bit late I know but my sincerest and best wishes to you and Andre. I love a happy ending. It’s great to see that true love and romance still exists. Well done! I’m sure Mike is looking down and sending his best wishes to you both. I know we didn’t always keep in touch but I’d like to say a special thank you for the time you did give with your kind e mails and for giving me the courage to write off for a signed photograph of Mike as Col Paul Foster. He even put my name on it too. Yea! It has pride of place in a wooden surround frame on my living room wall. Well after two months of hard work and two courses I’ve finally managed to earn my place on a full time psychology degree course at Preston University and have the remainder of this year and two more to go. So there’s some of my news. Best wishes Christopher |

Thank you for that Andre. I get so excited when I get a response to a post, even an email. A bit sad I know but what can I say I’m still a big kid at heart. I can’t remember now how I and Carie got talking in the first place. I think it was on the UFO SHADO fan site. She was so sweet and supportive because I was so scared about writing on Mike’s message board and was shaking when I finally did as Mike wrote a response saying, “Welcome aboard Christopher.” This man who I’d only ever seen on the TV, a hero in UFO was actually talking to me. Carie told me how she felt when she met Mike in person for the first time and telling me that he was a lovely down to earth person. She encouraged me to write off for a signed Photograph from Mike. She even promised that if ever I got to a convention where Mike was appearing that she would personally introduce me to him. At the time I was with a partner and going through a difficult period. Rediscovering UFO with Mike as Col Paul Foster brought back so many wonderful memories and Carie sharing her joy and involvement with Mike and so many other wonderful people brought my hero Col Paul Foster that much closer and making him more real. Thank you so much Mike, Carie, Andre, Ce Ce and Andy for a wonderful and special place to visit. X Sorry if I got anybody’s name wrong or forgotten anyone. Christopher X |

Hi Christopher, Thank you for your wishes and your lovely words. I am so glad that I helped do that for you, I wish I could have introduced to Mike and you would then have the same excitement and happiness that I felt when I first met him. I would be really pleased if you want to stay in touch my new email is above, drop me a line and let me know how you are, I am not sure i still have your email so get in touch!!
