My name is Joe Plambeck (or Joe2) and I am the marketing manager for Who Wants Cake? and The Ringwald Theatre. I know of WINGS...you guys are a great organization and we would love to help out. We have two weekends left of our current production, SOUTHERN BAPTIST SISSIES (check out www.WhoWantsCakeTheatre.com for more details!), and I have one performance for which I would be able to donate 10 sets of 2 tickets (20 tickets total). That performance would be this coming Sunday, June 17th....I know this is also Father's Day, but I thought there might be some people who would be available then (or possibly someone could bring their Father or Son?). SISSIES is an amazing play about how to stay true to yourself while also trying to stay true to your faith. It is a powerful message about love, hope, and acceptance. Due to SISSIES being towards the end of its run, the 17th is about the only day that we have an excess amount of available seats left....I hope it works out! If it does not, we can work together on another one of our productions. If it does work out, you can send me the names of those attending. Hello from Who Wants Cake? and The Ringwald Theatre! We have had such a successful couple of months since opening mid-May...thank you all for making it happen! :) We have appreciated all of your support and will continue to provide fabulous theatre to the Detroit area for years to come! While we appreciate our audiences and they make up a large part of our mailing list, we would like to find out amongst you has acting chops, technical skills, and even those who might be interested in volunteering for backstage work, ushering, and box office. If you have any interests in these areas, please respond to the email with one (or more) of the following three words in the subject line: ACTING TECH VOLUNTEER Feel free to tell us about yourself or just let us know what interests you have.
